I’m gonna be honest:

I’ve lost myself in this little artistic journey! I’ve focused so much on how others are so popular or what makes them popular. I tried so much to be like them instead of focusing on myself and what made me happy, what made others like my stuff.

My style is changing as I’m getting more experience, and now that I can draw I really wanna draw out my ideas in little comic forms. Kinda bring it to life in my own way. My way.❤️ I have denied myself because I wanted to be like the big artist… but I’m not!! I’m a small artist and I’m proud of it. I’m happy to see those my stuff has reach out too. The love my characters receive and stories! Forgive me!

I’m going back slowly but surely!! Need to focus on my stories too because that’s what got me started in the first place.

Back to basics it is!

i’m dropping out of college

yup, you heard me

this was my third and last try at it

my neurodivergent ass could not handle the typical school system regimen, so at last i realized it is not for me

i still want to pursue animation and at minimum illustration, but the demanding nature of college just wasn’t it besides, a piece of paper with a signature isn’t everything there is to life

so what’s next¿

i’m not sure, but that’s how i’ve been all my life so… currently looking for a job is a priority, and i'm not interested in a career, i’m just looking for the least annoying way to afford food and shelter on my own to be honest hahah

my commissions are open again in the meantime!

changed my do’s and don’ts by the way… cough cough 18+ cough…

i always see tik toks (specifically) that say something along the lines of “just found out jensen said dean is straight” or “when u find out that *insert person* denied destiel” accompanied with #sadmusic and it consistently gives me a chuckle.

i couldn’t give a FUUCK if the grown man jensen ackles or the fuck ass supernatural team said something shady about my gay ship— it’s in my soul.

i feel their love through the screen my man and no amount of denial will make me un-feel it. i fear some of us aren’t truly in it for the game

I know there's some au out there where Bill comes back as a baby and the Pines take care of him and Ford is super mean and cold and vindictive and blah blah blah but I would like to think better of Ford. That if it was a few years after Weirdmageddon, he'd softened a bit.

I'd like to think of him more as curious, and yes, he is traumatized and he has been shown to be vindictive but I think he'd have a soft spot for a baby. Even if that baby was a baby Bill. Maybe at first he's wary, but then maybe later Bill is crying and Ford just- can't stand it.

And he just picks up this weird little squealing triangle baby in his arms and he's just like- this- this is a baby. And he looks at it and thinks of Mabel and Dipper. And he looks at him and thinks of Shermie. And he wants to hate him really he does but instead he just cradles him.

Words of advice!

Know which social media apps are for you and which ones aren’t, because some can be really toxic! I for one started out on TikTok. Yes I have the most followers there, and the most likes and views! But I have had the most bullying done to me there recently. I find my content is more appreciated in social medias like Instagram and Tumblr! The way you guys engage and ask questions, it really makes my day!! Sometimes I need a wake up call because sometimes I am soooo focused on wanting to get my content more popular and stuff that I loose track of what I’m really doing it for… and that’s for my enjoyment and to the amazing little following I have going on!! You guys are worth more than 1K followers in my book… and I loose sight of that!! I really needed this wake up call!!

Which gets me to my second point! Just because you think you have the most following on one place doesn’t mean it’s the most enjoyable… I’ve learned that. I love my people on TikTok who have been with me and I hope you’re here now on Tumblr and Instagram!! I wanna try and get into Bluesky but one of my biggest obstacles is figuring out the algorithm!! lol crossing my fingers on that. But thank you!! Thank each and every one of you.

Have fun with what you do. Take it from me. Don’t do it for the views and likes… do it because you love doing it! And for the few who love you for it!!! They’re the ones that really cheer you on and just genuinely love your creativity! I know it’s hard to focus on that when you compare yourself to some amazing artists… trust me I know!! I compare myself to so many everyday single day and end up getting really depressed. But don’t. I’m trying my best to fight the good fight and live another day! Fight with me ❤️ Yes appreciate the art of popular artist, but don’t forget to appreciate and love yourself too!! I’m learning too.

I was never meant to be a mainstream person! Maybe just your small underground artist “indie” artist… and I am learning to accept that and be okay with it!

oh… i feel like i just gained forbidden knowledge, it’s not that hard to find if you really go looking though. it was amazing really, because it felt really cool and dumbfounding that this isn’t more common knowledge

but also makes sense, since not everyone gets invested in the lore of a small indie game development studio hahahah

it's about game files, textures, design details, and a previous project from the developers at wrong organ, which tie back into mouthwashing, at least in a subtle way in my opinion

some weeks ago i saw a post here on tumblr about an unused horse asset in the game files of mouthwashing, along with other multiple models and textures, and i thought it was interesting, but didn’t pay much mind to it

but yesterday i went around looking at the developer socials, as one does. first the wrong organ twitter account, which isn’t that hard to scroll at the bottom

i was looking at their mouthwashing memes really hahah

but then i saw in one of their old posts that someone asked about what happened to a shooter that was being developed, to which the account replied that it was sadly cancelled, and i thought “huh, i didn’t know about that, i wonder how it looked…”

cue more scrolling and a jump to johanna’s account

(she's wrong organ's co-founder by the way, obviously there’s people everywhere who don’t know this lol)

first i only looked at her retweets really, a bunch of outstanding mouthwashing fanart, but when i saw in passing mention that she also does art and i went "AWOOGA¿! FELLOW ARTIST SPOTTED"

immediate jump to her media tab so i could scroll from bottom to top

and oh boy

was i in for a surprise

remember the unused horse in the game files i mentioned earlier¿ YEAH THAT HORSE

well

going through johanna’s twitter gallery things started to connect, and man oh man… [VINE BOOM SFX]

my first thought was

"HUH… that reminds me of someone……… and i’ve seen that horse before…………… surely not"

but that wasn't it

also remember when only recently people was like just noticing that jimmy had a faint scar on his lips¿ which in turn ensued a ton of fanart that included that miniscule detail¿

uhm I don't know how to feel about it, I lived a good bit of my life thinking it's just the adhd nulling my potential. it makes sense I guess, since I don't have many of the adhd symptoms and the ones I do have falls under c-ptsd. man... what do you mean things that happened to me have an effect on my current life?

oh and his name is calvin btw, i was having trouble naming this guy but i had this lightbulb moment when being reminded that jimmy was named after a song, so i went through my mouthwashing playlist and picked one that mentioned a name that i liked

i could yap a lot more about why i really like this name and the implications it has in this pseudo au, but ehh

next step was curly ofc and oh my god i cannot stop drawing that stupid blonde man it’s like a disease, and every time i drew him he looked different BUT I FIGURED IT OUT

i like giving my drawings little notes on how i rate them, it’s a thing i’ve done since forever heh
